Newsletters to Our Friends
There was a time when Homestead Organics used the Snail Mail to reach friends and customers simply because the Internet had not yet reached everyone, and also, a lot of people still like to read standing up, lying down, out in the field, or how ever.
Although the letters are dated, much the contents is still useful.

- In August 1998, the issue reviewed new products at the mill, cover crops for the fall, the updated price list.
- In February 1998, the newsletter covered our new retail store and a discussion of the crop needs for 1998.
- In October 1997, we really got fancy with a brochure complete with graphics. We included an invitation to order untreated and/or organic seed for the 1998 season.
- Our first newsletter in the summer of 1997 covered our imminent move to the feed mill in Berwick. We described our services and provided some tips about organic production.
