Delivery Services
  • Homestead Organics has gotten out of the delivery business. Owning a truck is simply too expensive. Our network of dealers is providing you with local service. Please contact your local dealer to place orders and pick up products in your area. We refrain from organizing large direct shipments to clients who could be served by a local dealer.
  • When there is a direct shipment to your farm, we do business with an LTL carrier. They can deliver large orders on skids to certain farmers on a main road with access for a large truck. But they refrain from going down the back roads. Their charge is added to your invoice. On orders over 2 or 3 tonnes, you can budget about 2$ to 4$ per bag of 25kg within southern Ontario and Québec.
  • The delivery for bulk feeds and grains is a case-by-case basis, but often around C$25-$75/tonne depending on the load size in Ontario, Québec, New York, Vermont, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and Connecticut.
  • The delivery of small loads to other regions in Canada and the USA is very expensive. Orders from those regions should be a minimum of 20 tonnes bagged or bulk to make the trip affordable, unless you can afford the shipping cost of a small quantity.
  • If your order is small enough, such as garden seeds, we can use Canada Post or Purolator and we will pas on these costs.
