Iodox-A™

Use: Disinfectant

Iodox-A™ is a safe and effective disinfectant that prevents the spread of disease-causing bacteria in animals’ communal drinking water. Iodox-A™ is made with citric acid, a selection of plant extracts and a food-grade iodine trace mineral that plays an important role in promoting growth and development, and in burning excess fat. In animals, iodine deficiency can lower metabolism and cause abortions, anemia, retarded growth, etc. Iodine occurs naturally in soil, food and water.

In a test of the anti-bacterial activity of Iodox-A™ on E. coli and M. pyogenes and at a concentration of 1.0 ppm available iodine, Iodox-A™ killed 99.999% + of the test organisms in 60 and 30 seconds, respectively.

• Reduces the incidence of goiter (associated with a 34% drop in feed conversion, weaker shells and high mortality in chicks).

Directions for Use

Adjust injection pumps or medicator units to provide 1 part Iodox-A™ to 30,000 parts drinking water.

For high bacteria counts in poultry water, use 1 part Iodox-A™ to 10,000 parts drinking water for 2-4 days or until the situation is under control.
