Redmond Natural Trace Mineral (ntm) Salt

Use: Feed Supplement

Redmond Natural Trace Mineral™ Salt comes from a unique pinkish mineral deposit in Redmond, Utah, left by an ancient volcano eruption into a surrounding sea, which has since dried up. Natives and pioneers valued the salt as a source of nutrition, a flavouring and a preservative. Animals need rock salt to build up and activate their digestive fluids. Without it, they can only digest with great difficulty.

Redmond Natural Trace Mineral™ Salt comes in bagged granules or pressed lick cubes. It is 95% sodium chloride and contains calcium, potassium, sulphur, copper, iodine, iron, phosphorus, manganese and zinc, all of which are essential for growth and development. It is marketed by Redmond Minerals, Inc.

Several sheepmen in Colorado report that feeding Redmond Natural Trace Mineral™ Salt eliminated white muscle problems.
