In preparing your field crop seed selections, please consult the websites noted on the cover page of the seed catalogue. These are great tools to understand characteristics and relative performance of all the varieties. In the seed catalogue on our website, we have active hyperlinks taking you directly to performance data and technical sheets for almost all the varieties.
When thinking about seed, you are also probably wondering about markets and crop contracts for 2012. It is too early yet to set production contracts; we will start offering contracts in February or March. Suffice to say in the mean time that we still needs lots of the regular crops of soybeans, corn, barley, wheat, peas, and oats. It is hard to go wrong in your crop choices. Your greatest concerns are your soil conditions and your crop rotation requirements.
